Our Community, Walnut Grove, Minnesota. Yes, this is the same Walnut Grove made famous as the childhood home of author, Laura Ingalls Wilder. The actual Plum Creek of her book, "On the Banks of Plum Creek", meanders lazily along the west side of town; eventually sliding past the outdoor, hillside amphitheatre where the Wilder Pageant is presented every year. Walnut Grove was featured as the main home location of the Ingalls family on the television series, "Little House on the Prairie".
